Read One Piece Manga Chapter 819

Summary:

After revealing the fact that Kozuki Oden was a crew member of the late Pirate King Gol D. Roger, it is clear to the Straw Hats that Kaidou and the Shogun of Wano Country are after Momonosuke and his guards, believing that Oden passed on the knowledge of the Laugh Tale to the next generation . However, this is not the case as Oden did not wish to carry a large burden.
Kin’emon, Kanjuro and Raizo reveal their intentions to reclaim the land of Wano and open the country’s borders. They reveal that they want to kill Kaidou and the Shogun with the help of minks. They further recognize Luffy and Law’s power and ask the Straw Hat Pirates to help them. However, to everyone’s surprise, Luffy blatantly refuses. He then asks Momonosuke to speak for himself since he is the heir to the daimyo and the leader of the three samurai, even scolding him for crying. Remembering how Kaidou killed his father and mother, Momonosuke expresses his desire to defeat Kaidou and asks the Straw Hats for help.
Luffy accepts his request and forms an alliance with minks and samurai to depose Emperor Kaido and the Shogun. He promises Momonosuke to defeat Kaido for him, but says he wants to get Sanji back first, as his power can be a great help during the fight. Luffy eventually decides to go to Whole Cake Island along with Pekoms to get Sanji back. The mink rulers seem worried at the thought of confronting the Emperor, but Luffy immediately reassures them that it will be safe since he won’t be fighting Big Mom.
Meanwhile, the Minks prepare to celebrate the truce between Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. Wanda, Pedro and Carrot reminisce about the days when the two were friends. However, Jack and his crew return to Zou. Jack is very disappointed that he had to return to Zou because his subordinates could not complete the task. His subordinates propose to ambush the minks who survived the first attack. Jack quickly dismisses this idea and intends to kill the elephant himself.
